The Management Ekiti State University, (EKSU) has released the Admission list for the 2023/2024 Academic Session.

All the candidates who applied for Admission into Ekiti State University, (EKSU) for undergraduate programs can now check their admission status.

The names of all Ekiti State University, (EKSU) 2023/2024 admitted candidates have been released on JAMB CAPS And EKSU Admission Portal.

If you applied to study a degree program at Ekiti State University, (EKSU) you are expected to check if your name has been shortlisted for possible Admission.

What is University of Ekiti State University, (EKSU) ADMISSION LIST

Ekiti State University, (EKSU) Admission list, as the name implies, simply means the list of the names of successfully Admitted Candidates that have been offered provisional Admission into the University.

Candidates who applied for admission at Ekiti State University, (EKSU) can follow the procedure below to check their Admission status on both the EKSU Portal and JAMB CAPS.

How to Check Ekiti State University, (EKSU) Admission on JAMB CAPS

To check the Ekiti State University, (EKSU) Admission status on JAMB CAPS; please follow the procedure below:

  1. Visit JAMB CAPS at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
  2. Login to your "JAMB PROFILE" with your Username and Password.
  3. Scroll down, then locate and click the "Check Admission Status" tab.
  4. Select your "Examination Year" in the displayed years.
  5. Type and enter your unique "JAMB REGISTRATION" number in the required column.
  6. Finally, click on Check Admission Status to access your "EKSU" admission status.

Candidates successfully admitted into the Ekiti State University, (EKSU) first-degree programs are advised to:

  1. Login to their JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and ACCEPT or REJECT their Admission.
  2. Print their JAMB Admission letter after accepting the admission.
  3. Print their original JAMB result slip (this comes with passport photography affixed to it).

Apply for a change of course on the JAMB Portal in case they offered you any course different from the one you initially applied for.

Candidates NOT YET ADMITTED should Note that Admission is in progress and to keep checking the JAMB CAPS portal regularly for their Admission status.

How to Check Ekiti State University, (EKSU) Portal

Candidates can follow the procedures below to check their Ekiti State University, (EKSU) Admission status, on the EKSU Portal.

  1. Visit eksuportal.eksu.edu.ng
  2. Click Admission status (https://eksuportal.eksu.edu.ng/check_admission.php)
  3. Select Admission year i.e. “2022/2023”
  4. Choose Admission Type as “UTME”
  5. Enter your registration number as username
  6. If you have been offered admission you will be redirected to print your admission letter

Second method:

  1. Visit eksuportal.eksu.edu.ng
  2. Logon to your admission dashboard (https://eksuportal.eksu.edu.ng/app_signin.php)
  3. Your admission status will appear as Admitted if you have been offered admission
  4. Click a link next to the status to print your admission letter


Print a copy of this admission slip and follow the instructions on payment of Acceptance and School fees as shown on the website (www.eksu.edu.ng).

Kindly report to the Admissions Office (Academic Affairs’ Office Building) with this Admission Letter and two (2) copies of Authority to Proceed slip immediately after the payment of the Acceptance Fee.

Return to your dashboard to pay your school fees by following the instructions displayed on the website as mentioned in ”1” above.

Proceed to your Faculty Officer, within 24 hours upon payment of school fees, for faculty/departmental screening with the original copies of your credentials and the copies of Authority to Proceed Slip already signed by the Admissions Officer.

You will be given three (3) files along with the Faculty Screening Form which you must fill. The Faculty Officer will ascertain your eligibility based on University and Departmental requirements.

Proceed to your HoD for screening, after which you are to submit two (2) of the three (3) files containing copies of your Admission Letter, Certificate(s)/Result(s), Certificate of Origin from your Local Government, one Guarantor’s Letter, and evidence of full payment of prescribed fees as stated on your dashboard, three (3) recent passport photographs to your Faculty Officer for necessary clearance.

Submit the third file to the Senate and Academic Matters Division of the Directorate of Academic Affairs

NOT YET ADMITTED? Note that the Admission list will be published in batches on the Ekiti State University, (EKSU) Website as they are processed.

Candidates are therefore advised to frequently keep on checking the EKSU Admission Portal to know their Admission process status.
