The Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) has officially released the 2023 JUPEB results, all concerned Candidates are advised to visit the JUPEB portal to check the results.
This is to inform the general public and all prospective Candidates who sat for the 2023 JUPEB examination, that the 2023 Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) results have been released and are available for checking. The results and certificates will be dispatched to all JUPEB examination centers across the Nation at due cost.
The release of the 2023 JUPEB result was announced by the Governing Board of JUPEB and also the current Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Professor Folasade Tolulope Ogunsola, in a statement made available to newsmen, on Friday night.
The results being released are the results of candidates who participated in the JUPEB examination conducted from Monday, the 31st of July, 2023, to Friday, the 11th of August,2023, for the 2023 session.
The release would brighten the chances of admission seekers who wrote the 2023 Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) as awaiting results candidates.
A. JUPEB STATEMENTS OF RESULTS
Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) results are released to the University centers and Candidates are to collect their statement of results from their University centers.

- 1. Visit the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) result-checking portal at https://jupeb.edu.ng/portal/portal
- 2. Enter your ‘Examination Number’ and ‘Surname’ in the appropriate columns.
- 3. Finally, click on the ‘Submit’ button to access your JUPEB result.
NOTE: Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) result certificates are dispatched to study centers where the lectures were conducted. Candidates who participated in the examination are required to visit their various study centers to collect their statement of results through their program coordinator.

Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) point grades from A – E are considered as pass grades while grade ‘F’ is considered a fail grade. The total grade point for a candidate is the total of the three A-level subjects offered.
Candidates are entitled to a bonus of one (1) point if they pass all three A-level subjects with at least an ‘E’ grade.

For a student that registers for (3) Subjects with grades such as Physics (A); Chemistry (B); then Biology (C), the total number of points scored is calculated as follows.

12 Points + 1 Bonus Point = 13 Points
NOTE: A bonus point is awarded to the point scored by every candidate provided he or she did not score (F) in any of the subjects offered during the program. (Also See: Subject Combinations).
Therefore, a student with the grades above can boast 13 points in his/her Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) examination which is enough to study any course at his/her choice University.

The Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) is a national examinations body approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria in December 2013. It was formally established in April 2014 by a consortium of ten (10) partnering universities led by the University of Lagos.
